First time poster, ive owned the YJ for about a year now. ran into some transmission issues a couple months ago. i got it removed and disassembled and the overrun clutch has broken as well as the output shaft support. I ordered a new one (transtar), and assembled the output shaft in the support to check for clearances issues and everything fit together smoothly. When attempting to reinstall the support on the case, it will not fit. I put the support in the freezer overnight and let the case out in the sun today and was able to tap it into the case with a block of wood and hammer and get it fastened with the bolts. However, the output shaft will no longer slide in as it did before, even well lubed, like when it was out of the case. I'm guessing this may be a casting defect, and it is made in china.

2. i shouldn't have to apply really any pressure to install the shaft support correct? even broken it came out very easily when i dissembled
