I know that this question has probably been asked a hundred times but here goes- I want a frameless top for my 89 Yj, yea I know no one makes them. What are some other things that you all have done ? Thanks

Bestop doesn't make a frameless top for the YJ, seriously?
I would think the TJ version would fit without too much effort.

I've got an 88 and I put family style roll bar from a 94, then I bought a frameless top from Rampage and I love it.
Ahhh, that's right. The earlier YJs had the slanted sport bar.
Damn, I guess that goes severely limit the possibilities. I didn't even think of that.
They are often found on eBay. It really comes down to how bad you want one. I am guessing that Facebook Marketplace has a few often as well.

I just got a used family style roll cage for my 89, can I order a frameless top for a 91 and above to fit?
Just installed this today.......Rampage Frameless Soft Top. Was a breeze, It's kinda chilly here so I wrapped up the parts that needed zipping and channeling in a sheet and threw them in the drier on a low setting...Worked like a charm, Has a nice tapered look compared to the "Boxy" One a frame supported has. What's cool, All the sides and back zip out leaving a Bikini top for the good weather and comes with a bag to store it all when not in use.....I HIGHLY recommend it....$550.00
