Does anyone know of a place that sells or manufacturers OEM style decal kits> Im thinking that I would like to find a set of the 70's style yellow/ orange/ red decals for my green/ tan 95 to give it a retro look.

No YJ should have an automatic trans. thats blasphemy.

I had an '87 that didnt even have a key. It would just disappear from the parking lot after last call as friends would take girls they met to the beach after the bars would close down.

Why does everyone install new motors when that time comes? Does anyone have the original engine rebuilt? I understand if someone is looking to upgrade engines for performance reasons, but what if your perfectly happy with the engine you have and it just gets tired? I have a 95 2.5 with almost...

thats what I run. OME 2.5" with 31's. A great look, a good ride. Its what all YJs should have come from the factory with.

Really? I had an OME suspension lift installed with all new leaf springs last year and the rear does sit a bit higher. I just figured that was a characteristic of the kit. Do they eventually level out a bit, because I was thinking of a way to fix it.

After pulling my 95 out of winter storage last week I noticed it was leaking gas above the rear driver side wheel. Turned out to be a bad gas line. Now, my jeep is very clean underneath with very little rust anywhere. It just got old I guess. My problem is that the 2 lines going into and out...

I told you it was a dumb question. ;) Since I rarley ever do anything with my jeep other than drive it around town and to the beach, it looks like I may just keep the little 4 popper and regear for my 31's when the time comes. It would be nice to travel in the passing lane once in a while...

I didnt say anything about prepping the car, just removing anything you dont want painted. Theres no reason you cant take out the seats or remove the interior panels, or take out the headlights and tail lights and remove the rollbar covers, etc. At more than $100/hr labor cost, you can do that...

I assumed a tranny swap with a new engine, I was thinking more along the lines of all the other stuff. I imagine a larger radiator, heavier springs, sometimes a new rear end- things like that that may not need to be changed out. For instance Chevy makes a 200hp 2.5L and if you could make that...
