    What oil should I use?

I recently switched to full synthetic 10w-30 and my 2.5l has never run better. Has been getting over 19 mpg since I changed. BTW I have 240,000 original miles because I change my oil regularly every 5000 miles and still do with synthetic. I use Walmart brand oil after watching Lake Speed on you...

    Headlight oddity

The original setup lasted 30 years. I'm going to roll with the new switch until it happens again. Then I'll do the relay setup. I cleaned and dielectric greased all the power and ground terminals on my jeep before I figured it out.

    Headlight oddity

I replaced the head light on/off switch for $20 it fixed the problem. Apparently there is a relay in the switch that fails.

    Headlight oddity

Hello, has anyone had the following problem with your head lights? Sometimes my lights will go off for no apparent reason. They don't stay off for long, just a few seconds and then come right back on. I have checked the wiring, replaced fuses, used dielectric grease on connections, etc., etc...

    Fuel smell

I replaced my fuel pump recently and it didn't seal properly. I didn't see any leakage looking at it except right after I typed it off.

    YJ windshield install help

I recommend you borrow or buy an electric caulk gun or warm the caulk before hand. It's very thick and hard to get it out of the tube. Dido on the above response.

Pulled PCV valve off and saw major sludge buildup in valve cover, is this normal?

With all that gunk in the valve train the oil ports that allow the oil to drain back to the pan are probably clogged up. That's a serious problem because it can cause the pump to starve for oil. That generally happens because of lack of oil changes, if not by you then a previous owner. It needs...

YJ Seat Recommendations And Floor Coating Advice

I just put bestop trail max II Pro vinyl in my 95yj because I leave the top off most of the year. Didn't want the fabric option because they get rained on. The are very comfortable for me. This is my third set of seats in 15 years. Original, rugged ridge(uncomfortable and didn't last long), and...

    YJ Manual Transmission Question

My 95 ax5 is smooth like butter. I had it rebuilt about 10 years ago because the previous owner power shifted for several months because the clutch master cylinder failed (dumbass). I run 75W90 in it and change it regularly. I double clutch always when reversing and it goes right in.

Does anyone have a pic of their YJ with these?

If you have a winch it is not usable. It just covers the space where winches are installed. I have a dusty one in my garage somewhere.
