Before giving up.... try lapping them in. There should be plenty of vids on this topic. And make sure you are keeping all components in their original locations.

    94 YJ 4.0 overheating

My 94 YJ had very much the same issue.... I had upgraded (or maybe actually a down grade) to a flowcool water pump and IIRC a colder hi-flow t-stat (not sure what temp), but anyway... took out for test drive and temp gauge started going way high. Stopped let it cool down, etc. Did all the...

    HRDROKN's 1994 YJ build to 109"

My second issue is no speed sensor provisions on a later model NP241OR as the later models get the speed input from the wheels. Well, I was thinking I didn't need the speedo anyway, I could just use a app off my phone. I didn't realize that the ECM/ECU might want this info! She threw a check...

    HRDROKN's 1994 YJ build to 109"

In between getting these axles in and sorted, I decided this was the time to swap in a 2012 Rubicon case... which has brought me a couple of issues. First, I didn't find anyone documenting this swap with a T18 or NP435 trans and discovered that you can't clock the TC flat.... front drive...

1994 Hunter Green SE “Back to Stock” Thread

Hmmmm.... well this certainly sent me down a rabbit hole with the use of a gear oil. Initially my only thought was pumping ability of the pump to handle that at speed. I just pulled my 6 pinion NP231, now swapping for a NP241OR and was about to fill with C+.....

    Solid axle conversion Dana 30

Found this..... The passenger side (disconnect side) seal will install behind the carrier bearing. Two seals are provided because of the variations in axle tube thickness. One will work, one will not. They DO NOT install where the original, disconnect seal was located.

    Solid axle conversion Dana 30

Not exactly sure with this conversion, but normally the seal is just outside the carrier bearings. I think your new axle shaft could tell the story.... it has to have a machined surface for the seal.

1994 Hunter Green SE “Back to Stock” Thread

What fits your intended use and expectations is exactly where you should go with your rig. I would much rather have a tastefully done stock'ish looking rig than an overdone "Mall Crawler", that never hit the kind of trail you are portraying. The wife on the other hand may choose the other, to...

Jumping forward..... finished up the rear brake lines, all in stainless. All bled and any leaks tightened up. ;)

Correct wheel for lifted 1994 Jeep Wrangler?

My point is..... adjust accordingly. Doesn't have to be complicated.

Correct wheel for lifted 1994 Jeep Wrangler?

And that wheel looks to have a -25 offset. And looks great with a 31x10.50!

Correct wheel for lifted 1994 Jeep Wrangler?

I didn't catch whether the OP had a current fitment issue with the 31's he is currently running? If there is no issue than use your current wheel size as your guide. If you have stock wheels, you can search the factory width and backspace/offset. Thinking that the stock wheel was a 7" width...

    93 Restoration Project Complete

Wow, that came out great! I was particularly intrigued as that paint color is pretty close to (if not exact) the color of my first Jeep..... a 1986 CJ-7. Yep, just wow!
