I need a new or a company that can rebuild my balancer. The issue is my 1990 YJ with a 2.5 needs a double V belt configuration. New ones just don’t seem to excite any more. I found a company in CA that rebuilds them but I’m in Fl. Any insight will be very much appreciated

I broke mine off. I ground the remaining stud off fish with the top of the shifter. The very carefully drilled out and retapped for a threaded rod which I thread locked it.

My 1990 YJ 2.5 is approaching 200k in mileage. I am intending on a major overhaul. At this time I’m debating changing over from TBI Renix to a newer multi port injection from a 91 to 95 unit. Has any one done this. I was told I need complete doner engine and system!

I just installed a new oil pressure switch on my 1990 2.5. Every time the engine is started it reads different. could it be air bound?

I do have a complete set of the 1990 FSM's. I noticed reading the FSM that the 1990 PVC valve had an opening of 2.2mm. So I started to think that I now have the aluminum VC with the orifice CCV that maybe its not big enough in Dia.?

I investigated the possibility of switching to 1991 MPI system. It 's a hell of a lot of work. Maybe if I ever have to do a complete engine overhaul someday. If I would use a 91 MPI the head from the 90 will work. Starting in 92 you need a different head also.
