If no CEL and you don't hear the fuel pump cycle on, then it could be a bad pump or more likely a bad PCM/ECM (the computer). Wranglerfix.com for that or if you're handy you can dig out the capacitors on the PCM and solder in new ones. (I tried that too) Or, if you send them your PCM they can...

T-Rex Jeepster...THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS! Chasing down this Gremlin has taken me (and several professionals) longer to find than I care to admit. I plugged in a new #5 fuse and like magic...BOOM, she came alive. For the rest of the day, I'll be walking like George Jefferson down the hallway...
