Fuel filter - yes, changed it. I did not blow out the lines. I did clean the throttle body and idle air control motor/solenoid, whatever it's called. I have not done seafoam but I did buy the Mopar three part kit. Haven't used it yet.

I drilled it out and used a fender washer on either side. Did the trick. It's definitely better than no bolt at all. Thanks for the advice.

It's looks like the factory parts catalog for the 1992 does not have different part number for manual vs automatic for the PCM. Which is interesting because it does for my 1995. So, I think you'd be fine. Here's the page for reference.

Do all 1995 YJ's have a 4wd indicator light or was that an option? When I shift my transfer case into 4wd there is no light in the first of the 5-gauge dash panel. I haven't had the jeep long enough to know if the 4wd even works.

What is the point of putting it up on jack stands? Keeping the weight off the tires?

Just having the manual transmission is probably a deterrent for the average criminal in the US.
