Family guy here who is not mechanical at all. I have owned a couple of Jeeps, but wanted a YJ that reminded me of my youth. Bought it in Texas two days ago and tried to drive it back to Alabama. It died on the road.
So I am trying to make a plan for it. Starting with the fuel pump, which I am told is most likely the problem. After that, I want to upgrade the suspension and possibly steering components. I have to teenage boys I'm hoping to engage in this project with. Should be fun. Famous last words.
