Ok so I posted before about getting a 93 yj and it wouldn't crank. Well it's in my possession now and I got a chance to look at it. I found some funky linkage underneath and embedded the guy said its a column from a older jeep. He gave me a box of junk and it had the original column. Yep it ws an automatic. If I turn the key on the dash lights up wiper work etc but nothing for the fuel pump or cranking the engine.
I did a Google search but nothing rang a bell following the harness .
Any insight would be apriciated.
 
For an easy starter look for the fuse and relay box and remove, clean, and re-install them. I found a ton of corrosion on all the blade connectors. You can also do an easy circuit test while you have them out to see if they're at least getting power. A cheap multi meter will become invaluable.
