Hey guys, new member here hoping someone can help me solve my problem. I have an 89 4.2 L YJ that was nuttered about 2 months ago. It has been my daily drive and ran great for weeks. Then one day I had to travel for work about 2 hours away drove down on the freeway fine, no problems.... then on the way home with about 20 minutes left it started to lose power and seemed to shift down. I was able to get it towed home and figured it was the mechanical fuel pump because it cranks but seems like its not sending gas to the carb. if I spay starting fluid into it it does want to start though. Replaced the fuel pump and filter but still didn't do anything... what else could it possibly be?
