I recently acquired a 93 6-cyl auto and am in the process of rebuilding the steering column (not sure what the previous owner was on but it's a mess in there). It has the shifter on the tilt column and I have an unknown ground bolted to the ignition switch bracket. Does anyone know where this goes to? It was broken when I took the column out so I have no idea what it goes to. I can't see anywhere on the ignition switch or the high beam switch on the column where it would go to, and none of the replacement parts I've looked at online show a ground from either switch.
I took this picture just now on my 95 2.5l, it is the gray wire in the right side leading into that cluster. It is the base of the steering column. Hope that helps.
