I am having difficulty with my 1990 YJ 2.5L with an AX-5. it has roughly 180,000 miles on it.
I am experiencing a vibration that only occurs at certain RPMS and certain speeds. (It is most noticeable around 2nd or 3rd gear at roughly 3000rpm and over 30 mph. I started by replacing my transmission mount however that didn't seem to solve the issue. My tires are balanced, and my steering components are relatively new.
The only thing I can think of is either my transmission is getting ready to fail or perhaps I'm running too thick of oil for my cold climate (75W90 at roughly 30-40 deg F)
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
