have a 94 YJ that is very basic we purchased to used on the ranch roads with no serious off-roading. Roads are steep, rutted and sometime rocky. I am looking for recommendations for practical and reasonable priced protection for front and rear differential and oil pan.

The only issue with running aftermarket diff covers is that they can sometimes interfer with ateering (front axle) and the gas tank/gas tank skid. (Rear axle)
Your factory front axle is a Dana 30 and your factory rear axle is a Dana 35.
Motobilt has some nice diff covers that are way beefier which are intended on your type of use.
