Hey all! I've been looking for a hard top for my 92 YJ. Of course the ones I've found need some work. Can these things be repainted? What are the types of things I should look for on a top that makes it beyond repair?

My 91 Wrangler came with a hardtop that looked like it was beaten with the 'ugly stick'. I used spot putty to fill the scratches and a few scrapes, sanded it to rough it up, then painted it with UPOL Raptorliner from AutoZone. Came out great. Look for all glass including the rear hatch, no major structural damage. I replaced all the seals and window trim mouldings and it finished it off nicely. Good luck.
