My first Jeep was a 1948. That was in 1970. I am on my 16th now. I have owned 5 Gladiators including a Rubicon and a Mojave. 2 doors and 4 doors and in 2017 I had a 2 door built in to a pickup. The bed turned out to be about big enough for a good sized dog and a bag of dog food!!! I have owned V8s [1976&1977 Levi and Golden Eagle], 4 cylinders, inline 6 cylinders and V6s.
I recently bought a 1987 YJ, first year Wrangler. This one will be a keeper for me. I am 78 and can honestly say I like this Jeep as well as any I have owned. It is fairly Unique and that is what brings me here. I think this Jeep must be [I hate this word] rare. It is a One Owner, A Titled Jeep. Owned by a Magistrate in our county and equipped thusly:
Factory Hardtop
Power Steering
Power Brakes
Tilt Wheel
Automatic Transmission
Factory Air Conditioning
It has 144,000 miles on the 4.2 Liter inline 6. The ONLY modification done in it's total lifetime is a 2 inch lift. The Judge did that to clear the 265-70-15 tires on it.
It goes down the road at 55 mph like a charm. I try to drive it once a week at least and keep it on a Battery Tender. I hope some of you might be able to tell me if in fact this jeep is fairly rare in this Original configuration. Waiting to hear from you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

welcome to forum, i am sure that lots of people would like to find a wrangler like you have. where it rare or not, some one else with more history could tell you. i hope you get many yrs of enjoyment.
