Need some advice on NP-231 TC rebuild....

Going to replace my cratering AX-15 with a new Novak unit and figured it's a good time to rebuild the NP-231 Transfer Case while I'm at it.
I want to do away with the slip yoke and replace it with what ever will go best with the 2.5" suspension lift and 1" body lift. I've had to drop the
tranny support pan 2 3/4" to get the driveshaft in a degree that took the bind off the U-Joints. I'm wanting to use a set up that will allow bringing
the tranny pan back up to no more that a 1" drop, Or Nothing at all.....Any and all input will be answered with a full foamy head Stein raised in thanks
in your general direction.....SKOL!!!
