Hey y’all. I’m Chris, and I’m down in Summerville, SC near Charleston. Just picked up an 87 YJ with the 4.2. My first jeep without coil springs. My first Jeep was a 99 TJ I bought new and I’ve had several TJ’s and JK’s since 99. This is actually the first Jeep I’ve owned without making payments, so pretty excited.
As for me, I am a federal worker and retiring soon. I am retired from the Army as well.
My YJ is pretty decent but I got a good deal and will really just need to fix up some cosmetic details thanks to surface rust and rusted bolts heads. Easy stuff.
