Gearshift, making rubber sound when shifting into second gear

Hello everyone
I had a 2 1/2 inch lift installed on my 1994 and now when I shift into second gear, I have a rubber binding sound. Would anyone know what this could possibly be?

I don't understand the "Rubber binding sound" but I can say one common issue is the shift lever may be coming in contact with the opening in the tub because of the lift. Can you see how close it is? Even if there's a fraction of an inch, it may be hitting during acceleration or deceleration.
