Afternoon everyone, i have searched and cannot fiure out how to remove the lighting cluster around the speedo and tach. There is 2 harnesses that go into to run the lights between them, there are 2 rivets on each one i have no problem drilling those out if that's it, but wanted to see if anyone else has experience

So what is your goal with this disassembly?
I'm just guessing lens replacement and cleaning?
Just interested because I'm looking at doing that with mine.
30 years of AZ sun and heat have not been kind to them and they're pretty ugly.

Im in the same boat guys....Im doing a complete upgrade using a custom dash from DD and all new autometer gauges and micro LED indicator lights for the various things like blinkers, flashers, engine, 4x4 etc... I'll continue to post once I tear into this project later this summer. If ya'll make it out to So Cal and want to wheel in the mountains, hit me up!
