Ok, so I have an 83 4.2 in my 87 YJ. Head has 3 cracks that PO jb welded and painted to hide. It's leaking and I'm replacing head.

It has the offenhauser intake and hedman? header. It did have 1 exhaust leak but when removing intake/exhaust I noticed intake leak also at rear secton of head.

My question is; What gaskets should I use with offy and header?

There was only 1 gasket on it and some say use thick graphite.....others say double up on header's.
Any help appreciated.

I can't speak for the header, but having run headers in the past it was always the collector gaskets that blew out.
Especially when they got wet, like crossing deep water.
NAPA had Teflon collector gaskets that fixed that problem.
As an old mechanic I used to use fiberous grease on cast exhaust manifolds, but that's not going to work on a header.
It would carbonize and seal any machining defects between the two machined surfaces. Try finding that kind of grease today.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
