I have never seen a YJ with lower miles. It’s pristine, I am confident the original soft top (stamped 11-4-94) has never been removed, the half doors have never been removed, the owner never fiddled with it or made any modifications to it, it’s as it was in 1995 when he purchased it off the dealer’s lot.
This one owner 1995 Flame Red YJ with 3,683 original miles showed up on eBay around the middle of April and was posted out of Houston (Wed, 15 April 2020). I discovered the auction the next day around noon after it was posted. I actually posted it on the YJ forum’s , “For Sale Find,” area.
The auction did not have a, “buy it now,” feature however, it did have a reserve but the reserve price was not listed. I contacted the seller and inquired about the reserve price. He got back to me and I made him an offer to buy it off of him. We agreed on a price and I told the him I would be in Houston that Saturday to pick it up with my Father.
My Father and I arrived in Houston and it was just as clean, if not cleaner, than it appeared in the pictures we had been sent. We made the buy, loaded it up, and unloaded the YJ in the garage at 4am Sunday morning. We made the purchase a turn and burn.
In the Spring/Summer of 2021I’ll get it cleaned up from the tow and get some high-res shots of it for enjoyment.
