Thanks. It looks like someone had done the internal to external conversion on my AX5. It is leaking and I need to replace. Should one of the pre-bled kits with the master and external for a 94yj or TJ work?

I have a 1993 yj 2.5l manual that won’t go into gear. I got under it to look for leaks and it appears that the PO converted to an external slave. Wondering how to tell if he replaced with an AX15 or just did the conversion. Also what kit do I use to replace the master and slave? Does the one...

Thanks for the replies. Went with both but ultimately had to open it up. Still don’t know why it started, but was getting hung up on a tab. Bent it a little and got it to work. Takes a little work to get it to stay on now, but it will.

Pulled over and got out to grab something. Put my hazards on and when I got back in they wouldn’t go off. I pushed, pulled and twisted but nothing. Is there something I am missing or should it just pull straight back out. I had to disconnect the battery when I got home. 1993 2.5l manual.

Thank you for the replys. Turns out the ground from the stock harness broke when I was screwing it back on. Plastic was holding it so I didn’t notice. Low beams still don’t work so I will try to chase it down. It is strange, the amber lights come on, but not the low beams.

Check engine light came on yesterday and threw codes 27 and 41. It started running rough and had developed a chirp a week or so ago. Would a loose belt cause both those at the same time? Is it all coincidence? Any other ideas? Does have a bit of a gas smell but that is not new. 1993 yj manual...
