Does the YJ Deserve a Star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame?

Lots of YJs in the Walking Dead franchise across multiple different series/seasons. Also a YJ was the base for Rover 1 in The 100. Can't forget Back to the Future, and also there was a YJ Renegade in a movie called Silk Stockings.

New member 95 YJ Rio Grande

Good on you for tackling that - pretty ripe! I wonder about the integrity of the rest of the frame or even if a replacement frame wouldn't have been easier?

Need front seats for 94 YJ

I wanted to keep the interior of my YJ original so I tracked down used original seats. Took awhile, but was worth it!

1994 YJ Sport SE in Hunter Green

I think your post talked you out of a sale - if he was thinking about selling them, after reading your post, he'd be keeping them :p

New to me YJ and have questions

That looks to be a pretty original Sahara on the outside? If it is clean and the Sahara interior is in good shape too, you might want to freshen it up, put the drivetrain in it, and keep it that way or list it on bring a trailer and pick up something else to beat in the woods if that is the...

Am I ever going back to stock?

I should add, I actually did the opposite. I bought my Islander with some mods - I found original parts and swapped most of the mods out back to stock. I knew I'd never be interested in using the modification pieces again so I sold them all.

Am I ever going back to stock?

I wish more people around me had saved seats and now wanted to get rid of them. I'm having no luck finding grey cloth locally and I fear they are too big to ship! As for keeping it yourself - if you will never put it back to stock and need the space, maybe move it a long. Or if you're tastes...

    Rebuilding a 87 YJ

Nice work on the engine - and I agree on it being cool keeping the body/stripes original.

    Oil Sending Unit

As others have said, looks like a quick fix for you - install a new unit and replace the connector. I have never had one leak on mine, but my original did go bad and was reading pretty much pegged all the time. I replaced it with one from rock auto and it has been good ever since. About 10...

    Hello From Florida

Nice! I've spend a lot of time in the area - lots of great communities and things to do - great weather too! And you are right, here in Nova Scotia there are for sure better Jeep trails here with every type of terrain - which you can do year round, however with a classic Jeep like a YJ, best to...

    Hello From Florida

Welcome! Beefy looking Jeep! I love Florida - my parents used to live close to Tampa in Apollo Beach. Hope to move there and take my YJ with me someday!

    Aftermarket bumpers

I have the Mopar MPFI conversion on my 89 4.2 - starts instantly every time, nice smooth idle, smooth power, looks factory (except the air intake), etc. I also love that it uses all Mopar parts so sourcing any replacements is a breeze. Pricy, and hard to find now, but worth every penny IMO.

    Arch in stock springs

From my understanding, the stock springs are flat or basically flat.
