But the hazard light do work.

Where do I start? Disassemble the steering wheel? Or replace the flasher in the fuse box?

Flasher in the fuse box definitely is what I would try first, I doubt it would be the switch in the steering column because that switch operates the signals and flashers all in the same mechanism. I would think if that switch is bad, all 3 functions would have stopped working.

I could say low on blinker fluid but I won't.

They are two different circuits. Flashers work with the ignition key On and OFF while directional blinkers only work when the key is ON.

Is this a new problem or has it always been this way for you? Any recent work done up under the dash?

LED lights for blinkers?

The headlights are LED, but all side markers are stock.

Everything worked fine until last week during a drive I noticed no clicking noise and no light on the dash display when engaging the turn signal stalk either direction. None of the side lamps illuminate.

I was under the dash a month ago tracking down a short between the fuse box and blower motor control.

The only other abnormality is that the stalk has always required more than normal force to activate the turn signals. that hasn’t changed, and the stalk still clicks and stays in place when I try to activate the signals.

Apparently flashers are dirt cheap, and even the switch in the column isn’t that expensive. I’ll start with those and hope that does it

Update: the $3 flasher fixed the issue. I didn’t think any jeep repair could be so cheap.

Thanks!
