Having some identification problems. I want to put this carb on my 87 Wrangler 4.2. It has two electric plugs on it. I don't know what to hook to them. I have found the one smaller on on the parts identification sheet but still don't know what to do with it. The larger one I have no idea at all. Can somebody help me with this?

The small one is a "Idle cutoff solenoid". still no idea of what the big one is called and I don't know if I should remove them and plug holes or just leave them or what to do about them. Thank you for your reply

The large black round one with a single male tab on it is the choke heat element. You need to have it hooked up to a 12v source or you'll never have a choke that works. You could readjust it by rotating it so it does not close the choke flap but again, you have a B of a time when its cold out.

Thanks for the reply but I guess I wasn't clear on my requests ... I need to know what the ones are that are in the circled area.. The RED on and the YELLOW ones.

Sorry about that. Ive looked at several weber exploded views of jeep weber carbs and dont see any with 2 solenoids. Is there a part number on it like 32/36 xxxx or 38 xxxx?

yes It says 38. Didn't really want a 38 also has DGAS. actually wanted the 32/36 but some say the 38 will work fine so I guess I'll at least try it. If I don't like it then I'll go for the 32/36. The guy said it was off a 4.2L Jeep so I never thought to ask about those numbers. My fault ... still doing a lot of learning.
